I believe that in order to be successful, one has to make enemies. While it is sad and disheartening, it is the truth. I feel this for two main reasons. First of all, I think that in business deals, someone is bound to get cheated, or at least feel like they’ve been cheated. Even if both parties are trying to be respectful, it is likely someone will feel let down. Furthermore, many people don’t like successful people because they feel intimidated by them. Because of this intimidation, and often jealousy, some people will automatically not like you for no good reason.People automatically tend to shy away from successful people and judge them more harshly than they would an average person. So, while I feel like it may be unfair and a bit unpleasant, I think that in order to be successful, one has to make enemies.
