When given the choice between sending messages or making phone calls, I will always choose to make the phone call. I have a very busy life, and I am always in the car, or walking outside to my next destination. For this reason, I would rather make a phone call. It is very dangerous to text message and drive. So, I would rather have my eyes forward and ear on the phone, rather than looking down at my screen. I also prefer talking on the phone because it seems more personable. I am able to gauge the reactions by voice, rather than trying to interpret text and emoticons. I appreciate listening to people’s tones to determine how they are really feeling. So, for these two reasons, I prefer making a phone call rather than sending a text message.
